Chinese Community Centre
Services include an Information and Advice Bureau providing advice on welfare benefits, housing, health, council tax, immigration and other areas. The Centre also has a library with an extensive collection of Chinese and English books as well as Chinese magazines and daily newspapers.
The Centre organises many workshops including Chinese music and water colour painting, yoga, classes in English for Speakers of other Languages, internet café and arts and cultural programmes for schools. The Elderly Group is one of the Centre’s key services providing an advisory service, a healthy-eating lunch group, hairdressing sessions, outings and other events.
